We received a request to install safety measures on a used press machine manufactured by Amada Corporation. In the actual field, the light beam type safety device that the user desired was difficult to implement due to distance constraints, so we proposed a laser type safety device (Komori Safety Research Institute, Model: DSP-J). Since rival manufacturers were unable to meet the user's desired delivery date, we were chosen. The laser light emitted from the projector reaches the laser detection point of the receiver, creating protective areas in the front detection zone and the central detection zone, thereby safeguarding the operator's fingers in these two detection areas. Additionally, by selecting between the two operating modes (1 and 2) on the operation box, processing work can be carried out smoothly.
